Local icon Morfydd Owen came from our streets, a talent that outshone her years and left a legacy. Join us in this open call exhibition, a chance to find more local talent within our streets, step into the legacy. Let the creative genius of Morfydd Owen inspire your own.

Open Call!

You are warmly invited to submit your artwork for this open call exhibition. For inspiration we would like all artworks submitted to have been inspired by at least one of Morfydd Owen’s compositions. If you require assistance to find Morfydd Owen recordings, please email us and we will send you a playlist.


We are open to multimedia artworks, textile, sculpture, painting, music, soundscape, video, pottery, photography, poetry, mixed media and more.


There is no age limit or educational restrictions. No submission fee, but as this is a curated exhibition we cannot guarantee all artworks will be displayed. The exhibition will be curated by Parc Arts curators. For further information on size constraints or exhibition space limitations see the Terms & Conditions document.

Selected artists will be contacted by 30th September.

Approved Artworks should be delivered to Parc Arts on one of the following dates:

Thursday 2nd October 9am - 2pm | Friday 3rd 9am - 4pm | Saturday 4th 10am - 1pm
