Pontypridd Museum will once again feature a Morfydd Owen display in the main gallery.
Come along and learn more about one of Wales’s most gifted composers and musicians. Born in nearby Treforest in 1891, Morfydd Owen achieved remarkable success during her short life, creating beautiful songs, piano works and choral music that continue to be performed today. Discover her story, her music and her enduring contribution to Welsh culture.
*9:30am - 4:30pm weekdays.

Support from Lily Beau
Lily Beau is a Cardiff-born, Welsh-speaking, Irish-Jamaican singer-songwriter influenced by jazz music and cinema. Her 2024 debut EP Little Old Me blends pop, folk, and soul, exploring love, growth, and healing. The project earned BBC Radio Wales A-List spots and support from BBC Introducing. Lily has performed at Abbey Road and Maida Vale, charted on Spotify, and appeared with Tony Visconti’s Unsigned Heroes. Also an actor, Lily starred in Y Sŵn and Y Goleudy, and has supported Jack Savoretti, Mace the Great and Joel Culpepper.
