Join Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Amy Wadge for a special evening of stories, songs, and songwriting at the Writer's Round.

Amy will be joined on stage by acclaimed songwriters Luke Jackson, Lily Beau, and a special guest artist from Nashville, to be announced soon. Throughout the evening, each artist will share insights into their career journeys, creative processes, and musical inspirations, alongside performances of some of their most memorable songs. This unique, intimate event offers a rare opportunity to hear the stories behind the music and experience exceptional live performances. Don't miss this unforgettable evening of conversation, creativity, and outstanding music.


Amy Wadge:
Amy Wadge is one of the UK’s most successful contemporary songwriters, with four Grammy Awards and more than 20 Grammy nominations. Her songwriting credits include major artists such as Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Pink, Kylie Minogue, John Legend, Camila Cabello, Kacey Musgraves and Diana Ross. Best known for co-writing Sheeran’s global hit Thinking Out Loud, she won two Grammys for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Amy also won a BAFTA for her music for Keeping Faith and co-wrote the UK’s 2022 Eurovision entry Spaceman. She divides her time between Pontypridd, Nashville and Los Angeles.



Luke Jackson:
With a distinctive, bluesy and soulful voice, UK singer-songwriter Luke Jackson has built a strong reputation across the Roots, Acoustic, Americana, Blues and Folk scenes. Since his 2012 debut, he has released seven acclaimed albums and toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada. Career highlights include performances at the iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, support slots with Fairport Convention, Richard Thompson, Marillion and Jools Holland, and his award-winning releases Journals and Of The Time. His latest album, BLOOM (2024), has received widespread praise and attracted over 60,000 Spotify streams.


Lily Beau:
Lily Beau is a Cardiff-born, Welsh-speaking, Irish-Jamaican singer-songwriter whose music blends soul, folk and pop influences. Her debut EP, Little Old Me (2024), earned widespread support, including four tracks on the BBC Radio Wales Welsh A-List, BBC Introducing airplay, and performances at Maida Vale and Abbey Road Studios. Career highlights include performing with Tony Visconti’s Unsigned Heroes alongside Bob Geldof and Imelda May, representing Wales at the Nobel Peace Centre, and performing for Queen Elizabeth II. An accomplished actor as well as musician, Lily has also supported artists including Jack Savoretti, Joel Culpepper and Mace the Great.

Lily Beau is a Cardiff-born, Welsh-speaking, Irish-Jamaican singer-songwriter influenced by jazz music and cinema. Her 2024 debut EP Little Old Me blends pop, folk, and soul, exploring love, growth, and healing. The project earned BBC Radio Wales A-List spots and support from BBC Introducing. Lily has performed at Abbey Road and Maida Vale, charted on Spotify, and appeared with Tony Visconti’s Unsigned Heroes. Also an actor, Lily starred in Y Sŵn and Y Goleudy, and has supported Jack Savoretti, Mace the Great and Joel Culpepper.
