RCT's monthly Writing Squad is taking on a Morfydd-inspired twist!
This creative writing workshop for 10–18 year olds is the perfect chance to dive into storytelling, explore ideas, and get inspired!
Whether you're brand new to writing or already filling notebooks, this session offers a welcoming space to experiment, build confidence, and pick up great tips. Expect fun exercises, creative challenges, and the chance to meet like-minded young writers.

Lily Beau is a Cardiff-born, Welsh-speaking, Irish-Jamaican singer-songwriter influenced by jazz music and cinema. Her 2024 debut EP Little Old Me blends pop, folk, and soul, exploring love, growth, and healing. The project earned BBC Radio Wales A-List spots and support from BBC Introducing. Lily has performed at Abbey Road and Maida Vale, charted on Spotify, and appeared with Tony Visconti’s Unsigned Heroes. Also an actor, Lily starred in Y Sŵn and Y Goleudy, and has supported Jack Savoretti, Mace the Great and Joel Culpepper.
